A bunch of things I like, mostly contemporary print advertising and designs of consumerism I think are cool and work well.

Worth a read, agree with the sentiment. But in a fashion world that is arguably reaching postmodernist extents of manipulation and appropriation whilst underpinned by modern capitalism; I think it’s most likely that Obey simply saw the opportunity for $$$ and took it. Clearly marks itself out from a cluttered market with this simplistic, clear design. Don’t know whether it quite hits the spot though; can the Pringles brand stretch back quite so far from its usual ‘party antics’?
